DETROIT (AP) - A judge has ordered Michigan State University to release donor agreements with two alumni who gave or pledged millions of dollars to the athletic department.
Michigan State has acknowledged that some of the money will help pay for a who got a new deal in 2021 while leading the Spartans to an 11-2 record.
But the school has refused to release the agreements with Mat Ishbia and Steve St.
Andre, citing a privacy exemption in the state's public records law. Judge Brock Swartzle rejected that argument Monday.
"The privacy exemption does not apply to the gift agreements, with the limited exceptions of home addresses and estate-planning provisions," Swartzle said in ruling in favor of the Detroit Free Press.
Michigan State has 10 days to release the records.
They could reveal how Ishbia and St. Andre expect their money to be spent.
"Information of this sort is directly relevant to university functioning and would contribute significantly to the public understanding of government operations or activities," the judge said.
Free Press attorney Herschel Fink welcomed the decision and told the newspaper that Michigan State had made "a totally frivolous argument."
Michigan State has not been reluctant to tout the generosity of Ishbia, who is chairman, president and chief executive of United Wholesale Mortgage.
The school announced a $32 million gift in February 2021 and acknowledged a second donation later that year, though details weren't disclosed.
St. Andre is chairman and founder of automotive retail marketing firm Shift Digital.
Michigan State argued that disclosing the agreements would discourage others from donating.
"The court does not deny that disclosure might create a chilling effect with respect to certain charitable contributions to a public institution," Swartzle said.
"An exception might make [url=https://Www.Google.ne/url?q=http://Rumahmainan.com/redirect.php?link=https://eyangsloter.blogspot.com/]___

Hockey Hall of Famer Bobby "The Golden Jet" Hull has died at 84, the NHL Alumni Association announced Monday.
A 12-time All-Star and two-time Hart Trophy winner, Hull played the first 15 seasons of his 23-year pro career with Chicago and helped the Blackhawks capture the 1961 Stanley Cup.
He is Chicago's all-time leader in goals (604) and ranks third in points (1,153) after longtime teammate Stan Mikita (1,467) and active forward Patrick Kane (1,214).
Hull, who earned his nickname due to his blond hair and his speed, was also known for his ferocious slap shot that was once reportedly clocked at 118 mph.
He led the NHL in scoring three times and earned back-to-back Hart trophies as the league's MVP in 1964-65 and 1965-66.
In 1972 he left Chicago to join the World Hockey Association's Winnipeg Jets as a player/coach, signing the first $1 million contract in the history of the sport.
Hull was a two-time Gordie Howe Trophy (MVP) winner in the WHA and helped the Jets win the Avco Cup in 1976 and 1978.
The Ontario native retired after the 1979-80 season with a combined 1,808 points (913 goals, 895 assists) in 1,474 games with Chicago (1957-72), Winnipeg (1972-80) and the Hartford Whalers (1980).
He scored 129 points in 119 Stanley Cup playoff games and scored 80 points in 60 career WHA playoff games.
Hull's No. 9 is retired by the Blackhawks and the Jets. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983, where he was joined by his son, Brett, in 2009.

"BACK PAIN SUCKS!"
If you have ever suffered from back pain, you know exactly what I a talking about.
If you are reading this, it means either you or someone you care about is suffering from some form of back.
So, let's not bore you with statistics on back pain, let's cut right to the chase and give you some ideas on how you can get ride of your back pain once and for all.
First thing, if you have been suffering from back pain, please have it checked out by a physician. There are a lot of causes of back pain and you need to know what is causing your pain. So, lets say that you have seen your physician and stuff like fractures and tumors have been ruled out and the cause of your back pain is mechanical (degeneration, disc, joint and muscles problems).
Here are some things you might want to try;
Rub Magnesium Oil on your back, legs and butt. I am not going to go into all the details on magnesium oil, you can "Google" that. Let's just say that Magnesium Oil can help with stiff and tight muscle, so try it.
As long as it doesn't cause you pain, do some deep squats and lunges.
This will help loosen up the leg and butt muscles that are often related to back pain.
Do some self myofascial release or some self massage. There are many was you can "massage" your own muscles. Again rather than going into a lot of detail on the many different ways you can massage your own muscle, I will give a list and then you can look them up on YouTube.
"Google" these:
"Foam Roller Exercises"
"The Stick Massage"
'Self Myofascial Release"
4. Loosen up your hips. Stand up, lift your knee up as high as you can, move your knee as far away from your body as you can and then drop it back to the ground. When you do this you might feel a clicking in your groin area. This means your hip flexors (or psoas muscles) are tight, which is why I am having you do this in the first place.
5. Branched Chained Amino Acids (BCAA) like Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine can help reduce inflammation and help get amino acids to your muscles. I personally use something called Master Amino Pattern.
6. Think twice about taking Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). NSAIDS do help with pain. However, the problem is long term use inhibits healing. Not to mention they are hard on the stomach and liver.
7. An alternative to NSAIDS can be Proteolytic Enzymes such as Trypsin, Chymotrypsin, Papain and Bromelain. When taken on an empty stomach, these can help with inflammation.
Some examples Proteolytic Enzyme products would be:
Wobenzymes
Recoverease
Pineapple/Papaya
8. Take some Medical Grade Fish Oil. This may also help with inflammation. Like most things, you get what you pay for so get yourself some high quality fish oil.
9. Follow the Anti-Inflammatory diet. Just "Google" Anti-Inflammatory diet.
All the things I have talked about are things you can do for yourself. What should you try? ALL OF THEM. We are playing a percentage game. If the enzymes help 2%, the self massage helps 2% and some of these other thing help another 10%, well maybe that's enough to reduce your pain and get you back on the golf course or back playing with your grand kids.
I am not done. There are still a bunch of things you can do to help get relief from your back pain. For most of these listed below you will have to see a good sports chiropractor or a sports physical therapist. I just wanted to list them so you can find a doctor or clinic that offers these services.
Again, we are playing a percentage game so ideally you would want to do some form of combination of these services. It would be best to find a find a clinic that offers all of these services, then sit down with your doctor or therapist and develop your personal recovery plan.
Spinal Manipulation (Usually done by a chiropractor)
Extremity Manipulation. An example of this would be mobilization of a foot or ankle.
Custom foot orthotics. If you pronate or the arch of your foot drops, you knee can buckle in and then this can drop your hip, which then can affect your back.
Electric Muscle Stimulation can reduce muscle spasm, pain and inflammation.
Therapeutic Ultrasound.
Cold Laser
Acupuncture
Dry Needling. This involves putting small needles (ever acupuncture needles) into the trigger points in your back and legs.
Trigger Point Injections
Spinal Decompression.
Massage Therapy
Prolotherapy
If you are suffering from back pain, I hope this article gave you a few ideas that you have not tried yet.

I'm not going to argue that you can't live with back pain. Of course you can. For proof just look in the mirror.
There is a long list of various maladies that could cause back pain, and to be sure, a few of them such as spinal meningitis are life threatening, but for the most part garden-variety bone/muscle/nerve back pain, often referred to as mechanical back pain, is not something that you will die from - therefore, you can live with it.
Elementary logic. Simple stuff, really. Back pain is not like chest pain where there is a very real possibility that you might die from the coming heart attack. Most assuredly it is stressful to live with a bad back, never knowing for sure whether tomorrow will be a good day or a bad day, but certainly not life threatening.
The real question is can you live with the constant stress of chronic neck pain or back pain? Should you do less and less as months turn into years in a futile effort to avoid the pain? Should you take more and more, and stronger and stronger drugs in an effort to continue a normal life?
And, perhaps, most importantly, if there was a way to halt or slow down the gradual progression from cane to walker to scooter, would you do it?
The real problem with chronic neck pain and back pain is not the pain it causes, but the stress it causes. How many times have you heard that stress causes health problems?
A true enough statement insofar as it goes but it is more accurate to state that stress causes chemical changes within your body that when prolonged eventually result in health problems. Say, for instance, that you go out to your mailbox to check the mail and find a letter from the IRS.
Would your blood pressure go up? The onset of a stress response is associated with specific physiological actions in the sympathetic nervous system, both directly and indirectly through the release of adrenaline and other hormones to facilitate immediate physical reactions by triggering increases in heart rate and respiration, constricting blood flow to the internal organs, facilitating blood flow to the skeletal muscles, and a host of others all evolved to increase your chances of survival.
These are the things you can't live with. Would you get a knot in your stomach? An IRS audit doesn't cause ulcers but the stress of an IRS audit, or more specifically the chemical changes that occur as the result of the stress, may. The interactions of the hypothalamus, pituitary, and adrenal glands are a major part of the neuroendocrine system that controls reactions to stress and regulates many body processes, including the circulatory system, digestion, the immune system, mood and emotions, sexual vitality, and many, many, many others.
How do you sleep between now and audit day? Stress can interfere with a very long list of vital functions.

'Death diving' TikTok videos have amassed millions of views in recent times, despite warnings that the extreme sport should only be attempted by trained professionals
