On October 2, 2020, Weinstein was charged with another six extra sexual assault charges from three more incidents in Beverly Hills resort rooms: three counts of forcible rape and three counts of forcible oral copulation. October 15, 2017, Harder was no longer working for Weinstein. In response to The new York Times report in 2017, Weinstein said: "I admire the way I've behaved with colleagues prior to now has triggered a variety of ache, and i sincerely apologize for it." He stated he was attributable to take a sabbatical and was working with therapists to "deal with this issue head on". On February 24, 2020, the jury found Weinstein guilty of rape in the third degree and a criminal sexual act in the first degree, and never guilty on three counts including two extra critical charges of predatory sexual assault. Substantial allegations of sexual misconduct by Weinstein had been first reported by The brand new York Times journalists Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey on October 5, 2017. The story accused Weinstein of three decades of sexually harassing and paying eight settlements to actresses and feminine production assistants, temps, and other staff who worked at Miramax and TWC.
